The Silver Spring Ambulance and Rescue Association, Inc. is managed by volunteers, and is a community service organization. Our EMS professionals respond 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Many personnel hours are spent in training and doing support tasks such as clerical work, building and other services.

We are always in need of interested people to volunteer for this rewarding activity. If you are interested in helping us to continue serving the community, please volunteer.

What does it mean to volunteer? People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some, it provides an opportunity to give back to the community or make a difference in the lives of others. For others, volunteering provides an opportunity to develop new skills, pursue their individual passions, or build upon existing experience and knowledge. Being a volunteer is a way to define yourself.

There are a variety for non-medical roles you can contribute to SSARA. Please reach out to us today.
